I often find myself spending so much time focusing on the negative things in my life. The never ending to do list, the multitude of things I have to do but haven’t yet done, the things I shouldn’t eat, the cleaning I should have done but haven’t yet, the exercise I should be doing but haven’t and the list can go on and on…
Instead I have decided to focus on the positive things and see how many of those I can add to each day. Things such as drinking more water, being content if I have had more water today than yesterday. Simple I know. I also think food is another big one, I tend to spend too much time focusing on the bad things I have eaten, instead of this I am going to focus on adding one extra healthy thing to my diet each day and praise myself for eating an extra piece of fruit or another vegetable and so on.
I know these sound simple and they are! The focus I am aiming for is not so much the things I should be doing but haven’t, but focus on praising myself for the positive things I do accomplish. Focus on adding one positive thing each day until the positive things outweigh the negative things. I am hoping this will bring the changes I want to see in my life!
Well I am off to go and add a positive thing to my day 🙂
